Generator Service & Repair in Albany, MN
Warning Signs Your Generator Needs Repair
Your standby generator is designed to be there when you need it most, but like any mechanical system, it can develop issues over time. Albany homeowners should watch for these warning signs: the generator fails to start during its weekly self-test cycle, you notice unusual noises or vibrations during operation, warning lights or fault codes appear on the control panel, or you detect fuel leaks or oil spots around the unit. Even a generator that appears to run normally may not be delivering full power if internal components are worn or out of calibration. Ignoring these signs can lead to a complete failure during the next outage — exactly when you can't afford it.
Importance of Professional Generator Service
Generator repair is not a DIY project. These systems involve high-voltage electrical connections, natural gas or propane fuel lines, and sophisticated electronic controls that require factory-trained expertise. The GPS team has been servicing Kohler generators since 2010, and our technicians understand these systems inside and out. When you call us for generator repair in Albany, MN, we diagnose the issue accurately the first time, use genuine Kohler parts, and ensure your unit is restored to peak performance. Our commitment to personal customer service means we keep you informed throughout the repair process and follow up to make sure everything is running smoothly.
